Wong embarked on a four-month speaking tour around Asia and her work was translated into several languages. The poet's signed inscription to the front free end paper.Despite holding the position of Governor for barely two weeks as an interim after the resignation of his predecessor Snow was a prominent figure in Connecticut particular for education where he served on Boards of Education for over thirty years. His poetry became popular after meeting fellow poet Robert Frost with whom he became close friends. This particular anthology writing of his native state of Maine and its people and places is an example of his autobiographical poetry.
