Original three-quarter leather over marbled-paper covered boards marbled endpapers; spine lettering gilt. 447 pps. with index. 12 plates including folding frontis map "The Cotton Belt--Showing Localities of Heavest Production" shows the American South from the Atlantic coast to New Mexico. Notable for the four full page plates of exteriors of these colleges: Texas A&M Alabama A&M Missouri State and West Virginia Agricultural College now West Virginia University. A tight clean example first few leaves dogeared at top corner. Spine gilt brilliant some moinor wear and scuffing too the tips and spine ends. A very nice example indeed. <br/><br/> GPO hardcover

A couple of account pages have "Dairy Skins" headings at top of the pages. Dates and entries for the ledger are not continous. Entries start January 12 1874 to and finish in April 1879.
