1910853N1Bristol: J. Arrowsmith 1910. Cloth. Very Good. 11" by 9". Not stated. This chronicle of Bristol offers insight into the city in the fifteenth century. First published in 1623 Adams's Chronicle of Bristol comprises a list of the city magistrates for each year and the events that happened under them. A copy of the chronicle came in to the hands of a local antiquarian Francis Fox in 1907 who introduces the present volume with a description of how he acquired the manuscript. With a facsimile of the manuscript at the frontispiece. In the publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards a little more so to the joints. Rather bumped to the head and tail of the spine with a tiny chip in the cloth to the head. With a little wear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound. Foxed to the endpapers but pages are otherwise bright and clean throughout. Very Good J. Arrowsmith hardcover
