In a slipcase with pale blue paper covered boards. Very good. The spine of the book is heavily sun faded and has a couple of very tiny stains. The spine label has a minor chip in the bottom edge. The slipcase is in very good condition with very light rubbing and sun fading. The slipcase also has several areas of very minor soiling. Frank Waters wrote 27 books including novels biographies histories and essay collections. The majority of his fiction and non-fiction mirrors Waters’ wide interest in the culture and religion of Navajo Hopi Pueblo and pre-Columbian peoples. He felt that all his books were immediate failures in the beginning. However they were constantly reprinted in small printings and translated into foreign languages until finally gaining worldwide recognition. Number 176 of 1250 copies.
