Fair only. <br /> <br /> Contents provide history of tribe and interactions with the United States government since 1850 including Government War plans battles previous acts peace treaty personal interviews of tribe members boundaries etc. The attorney for tribe states in conclusion page 105: The purpose of this statement is to present the facts which are the the foundation of the claim of the Sioux Tribe.In conclusion we restate the fact that the United States by the Act of February 28th 1877 took from the Sioux Tribe more than 73000000 acres of land and from that land there has been taken gold and other mineral value over $400000000." About sixty years later the case was finally settled by Supreme Chief Justice Blackmun. The letter addresses the recent purchase of the Berkeley Barb by Alan Coult from Max Scherr after negotiations for a sale to Tribe members broke down. The letter expresses distaste for Coult as well as disappointment in the Barb under his ownership while touting the Berkeley Tribe. The Berkeley Tribe was a radical counterculture underground newspaper from Berkeley California formed after a split with the Berkeley Barb over labor and ownership see this letter issues. The Tribe embraced more radical and left wing causes than the Barb. GOOD condition. Fold crease present. Moderate to heavy uneven browning especially along the right edge. Compiled by members of the International Liberation School and Red Mountain Tribe during their height of Panther worship the handbook begins with a short essay “In Defense of Self Defense.†It's then divided into two sections: Technical and Handling which provides practical advice on how to purchase shoot clean and maintain handguns rifles and shotguns. The handbook concludes with a primer on gun laws a short reading list a handgun ballistics table and a glossary. Illustrated with pictures and diagrams of guns photographs of revolutionary figures such as Malcolm X Huey Newton and Ho Chi Minh as well as military professionals in firing stances.<br /> <br /> The International Liberation School was organized at the suggestion of Eldridge Cleaver and two of the principal organizers were Tom Hayden and Stew Albert.
