First edition of this wonderfully illustrated souvenir calendar created and issued by the M. Kashower Co. originally formed in 1914 between Morris Kashower and Theodore & Philip Sohmer in 1914 by by 1915 Kashower would operate on his own. The paper novelty printer also issued holiday greeting cards comic postcards and historic colour-linen postcards based out of Southern California. Kashower 1883-1920 was a Russian Jewish-American who had emigrated to the U.S. in 1890 and by 1910 was working printing shops in Southern California.
