En regard du portrait de chacune des 28 personnalités ici présentées, sa notice biographique ainsi que la reproduction de son autographe. En outre, illustrations dans le texte en sanguine et lettrines. Les portraits photographiques ont été réalisés par Nadar, Boyer, Reutlinger, Pierre Petit ou encore Braun. The boards are of wood with an inset medallions of Sarah Bernhardt in her role as "La Princesse Lointaine" after the illustration by Alphonse Mucha. With; publisher's slipcase. An unnumbered copy out of a limited print run of 2000. Blind tooled short title on front board along with author artist and publisher stamped in gilt. Spine the same as front board. Text block is clean unmarked and square with a strong binding. Small crease in spine. Very lightly bumped upper right corner. This copy seems to have never been read. Included with this copy is an original order form from Petersburg Gallery folded a one page CV of Nayland Blake from Petersburg Gallery folded and a photocopied article from Artforum magazine November 1990 entitled "You're History Pal.
