This was Ms. Norris’s working copy with annotations in her hand throughout. Laid-in is a 8 inch by 10 inch glossy color photograph of Christopher Norris in character as the young nurse named Gloria ‘Ripples’. Specially red leather bound copy with “Christopher Norris†in gilt on the front cover 55 pages dated July 24 1979. Season 1 Episode 5 which aired on October 28 1979. Fine copy. Trapper John M.D. was a spin-off of the beloved MASH film and series and ran on CBS for seven seasons. The character of Trapper John was played in the film by Elliot Gould and on MASH by Wayne Rogers. Trapper John M.D. focuses on Dr. “Trapper†John McIntyre 28 years after his discharge from the 4077th MASH unit during the Korean War. Now he’s the Chief of Surgery at San Francisco Memorial Hospital.
