At the foot of the frontispiece portrait Professor Bastard has written in ink With the Authors Comps To a recipient whose name has been largely blacked out. The recipient whose name is blacked out may well have been Captain J.W. Smith who was one of the subscribers. Front inner hinge split. Very scarce. 96pp. Lynn Burke was the winner of two gold medals in the 1960 Rome Olympics and together with sportswriter Don Smith they draw on years of coaching experience to present the proper drills and exercises to develop the muscles the competitive swimmer needs.
