Quest'opera tratta della vita di Jigoro Kano (28 ottobre 1860 - 4 maggio 1938), Fondatore del Judo. In lui coesistevano in perfetta armonia due nature diverse: l'esperto di arti marziali e l'intellettuale. Grazie ad una pratica assidua del Ju-jutsu divenne un abile "lottatore" e tramite il suo impegno nello studio fu professore, educatore, preside e consigliere del Ministro dell'Educazione Nazionale. Jigoro Kano aveva un progetto: diffondere il Judo come strumento utile al benessere fisico e mentale di tutta l'umanità.
