Initially this appears as a faux signature but closer inspection reveals that ink from the signature has partially soaked through to the other side of the page, suggesting it may be a true signature. Conversely, ink has soaked through at other places, suggesting the signature is not handwritten. Profusely illustrated with black and white illustrations. ill. Il karate, codice guerriero giapponese, ha suscitato l'interesse di tutto il mondo ed è considerato una delle arti marziali più efficaci e spettacolari mai concepite dall'uomo. Non si può non rimanere sbalorditi avanti alla potenza del karate, quando si vedono legni e pietre spaccati con le mani; si direbbe trattarsi di una magia capace di rendere possibile l'impossibile. Il karate, considerato come mezzo di difesa, comporta una vigoria fisica ed una potenza non riscontrabili in altre arti marziali. Ma è altrettanto vero che esso rappresenta una forza di saggezza e di bravura.
