Slight soiling rubbing and edgewear to covers. On the bottom of both spines in gilt letters the name of the prior owner who had these volumes bound Murdo J. MacLeod b. 1935 a Scottish historian of Latin America who published extensively on the history of colonial-era Central America the Caribbean and the Atlantic world. 1944 Guatemala prior owner name to the half title pages of both volumes. Otherwise apart from moderate age toning a very good set - clean and unmarked - of this scarce collection.
