On envisage les différentes méthodes de résoudre ces problêmes: les méthodes non paramétriques, l'approche asymptotique, I'adaptation, le développement de la théorie classique des décisions. La plupart des résultats exposés dans cet ouvrage sont originaux. Ils sont obtenus par l'auteur et ses élèves ces dernières années.
