È inoltre presente una breve lettera di Flavio Bicego, sindaco del comune di Roverè Veronese. Interessante studio dedicato a comuni veronesi della Lessinia fra i quali Velo, Rovere di Velo, Val di Porro, Campo Silvano, Selva di Progno, S. Bartolomeo delle Montagne, Azzarino, Sprea con Progno (Abbazia o Badia Calavena), Saline, Tavernole (Tavernola), Bosco con Frizzolona (Bosco Chiesanuova), Erbezzo, Alferia (Cerro) detti i tredici comuni dove si trovano ancora forte risonanze dell'antica cultura cimbra. Coperta editoriale con piatti in cartone rigido di colore bordeaux e titoli sul piatto anteriore e sul dorso. Con numerose e belle illustrazioni fotografiche in nero. Oltre ad una trattazione generale dei materiali e della loro lavorazione (anche dal punto di vista chimico) sono presenti le applicazioni della gomma nei diversi campi tra i quali quello delle automobili e dei pneumatici, delle biciclette e delle moto.
