Seconda edizione che presenta alcune tavole e carte in più rispetto all'edizione precedente. Bella legatura artigianale coeva in piena pelle con stemma araldico in oro al frontespizio entro cornice in oro "Nave che fluttua sul mare" e sotto il motto "Nil Amanti Difficile". Dorso a 5 nerve con titolo e fregi a secco ai tasselli. Difetto alla cerniera anteriore e qualche segno del tempo al dorso. All'interno in ottime condizioni di conservazione. Celebre racconto di viaggio dei territori che vanno dall'Himalaya alle Khasia Mountains,dal Sikki al Nepal al Bengala. Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker (Halesworth, 30 giugno 1817 - Sunningdale, 10 dicembre 1911) fu un celebre viaggiatore e botanico inglese.
