This edition has a new title-vignette and an extra woodcut illustration. This work is effectively the forerunner of the Alpine Club Journal. Joseph Marie Soulary, dit Joséphin Soulary (né le 23 février 1815 à Lyon et mort le 28 mars 18911 à Lyon) était le fils d'un commerçant de Lyon d'origine génoise (Solari). Sa maîtrise des difficultés techniques de son art, en particulier dans le sonnet, lui valut le titre de "Benvenuto de la rime". Membre de l'Académie des sciences, belles-lettres et arts de Lyon, il reçut deux fois le prix Vitet de l’Académie française, en 1878 et en 1891 pour l'Ensemble de son œuvre poétique. Reliure un peu frottée, qqs petitss accrocs. Bon exemplaire.
