Text includes extracts from pertinent New England and mid-Atlantic state laws regarding guide boards. Presumably issued sometime after 1888 the laws in Vermont having been approved November 2nd of that year. As of today many of bridges built by the Company can be found on the National Register of Historic Places. One copy catalogued in OCLC as of November 2016 at the Connecticut Historical Society.
