brossura Nel libro l'autore propone una interessante versione del Sistema Lungo corto, 5ª nobile, leggermente modificato rispetto a quanto proposto dalla F.I.G.B. e utilizza un meccanismo dichiarativo che prende le mosse dalla Legge delle prese totali di Larry Cohen, ma segue poi un suo percorso personale con la finalità di attuare un gioco moderno ed efficace, specie nelle dichiarazioni competitive a tutti i livelli. Di assoluta novità sono: le interferenze competitive del 2° di mano, che l'autore definisce ambigue, e la difesa preventiva , argomenti questi di grande efficacia agonistica. In conclusione, il libro assume elevato valore didattico, sia per la dettagliata spiegazione del metodo di valutazione della forza delle mani, basato sul conteggio degli atout, sia per il facile metodo d'insegnamento del sistema dichiarativo e, infine, per l'esposizione, ampia e varia, di nozioni e tecniche sul gioco della carta.
