Some of the photos were taken by André Kertész.<br /> <p><p><br /> ErnÅ‘ Goldfinger 1902–1987 was a Hungarian born British architect lived in London since 1934 and became one of the most influential figures in the British modern movement. His monumental 1959–1963 scheme for Elephant and Castle in south London was so unpopular among the locals that it is said to be the reason why the author Ian Fleming chose the name Goldfinger for one of the villains in his James Bond novels.<br /> <p>.
