Pour l'auteur, seul le roi peut résoudre le problème "dès lors, tout étant remis à sa vraie place, les Juifs reprendraient la leur tout naturellement".

Previously owned by Robert Thayer, the well known Connecticut antiques dealer, with his scribbled name and date on the front endpaper. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Litchfield Historical Society in 1993. Essay by Theodore and Nancy Sizer. 8 color plates + numerous black & white illustrations.
