Diploma a stampa con parti compilate manoscritte, cm. 58x43. Testo latino. Rilasciato post mortem a Bartolomeo Sestini (Pistoia 1792 - Parigi 1822), patriota e poeta. Acclamato poeta improvvisatore in tutta Italia, si serv? dei suoi viaggi per diffondere la Carboneria, specie in Sicilia, dove fu arrestato e condannato (1819). Liberato per intercessione del governo toscano, si recò in esilio in Francia. Oltre ad alcuni versi estemporanei raccolti dagli uditori, pubblicò i meditati Amori campestri (1814) e gli Idilli (1816), nonché una tragedia, Guido di Montfort (1821). La sua opera migliore è peraltro la novella romantica in ottave intitolata Pia de' Tolomei (1822). Piegature centrali, alcuni abili rinforzi al verso con carta Cina, nel punto di piega.

The fine draftsmanship in the pen and ink work is superb while the water colours show the highest skill." - xv-xvi.
