Written in the vernacular of the Florentine language it is considered a masterpiece of early Italian prose. Written by Giovanni Boccaccio an Italian writer poet and important Renaissance humanist who is said to have dubbed Dante's Comedy "Divine." Illustrated by Lucian Zable a German artist and illustrator. In the original orange cloth binding. Externally very smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities.
