Very good copy.</p><p>Very nice catalogue of books formed by the Protestant divine former rector at St. Stephens in Dublin and the English Congregation in Rome. He was the author of a number of sermons on topical subjects of the day and wrote essays published in his "Correspondence on the Roman Catholic Controversy" published in 1865.</p><p>The auction sale was organized over five days in May in 1867 and included 1717 lots. As the title suggests this is a gentleman's library reflecting a diverse collecting range from early theology to contemporary novels. His voyage and travel section is considerable.</p><p>Allibone S.
