King 1843. 12mo. xvi 215 pp. Unusual full calf binding with gilt-decorated borders and geometric pattern tooled in gilt and black to boards; raised bands gilt decorated compartments and gilt lettering to spine; yellow patterned endpapers. Rubbing and light chipping or abbrasions to leather. A previous owner whose name is at the ffep dated 1845 has written on the title page 'one of the Lymington Policemen'. Light and rather scattered spotting. The poems were composed over the course of Glamorgan's life and cover themes and subjects such as Waterloo the Clyde the death of Nelson Llangollen Vale The Rose of Abergenny and Three Nights in Corwen Churchyard.
