Softcover 2 issues bound in printed gray wrappers titled in black on the front covers and the spines. The edges of the covers are lightly creased with a couple of very tiny tears and minor chipping to the head of the spines. Volume LXVII No. 15 November 1 1936 pages 257-384 & 4 pages of ads on orange stock; Volume LXVII No. 16 November 15 1936 pages 385-512 & 8 pages of ads on orange stock. There are minor creases & chipping to the overlapping edges of a few of the deckle-edged pages. Very good. <p>First edition the publication in book form is advertised on the back cover of the November 15 volume.<p>Near the beginning of the Spanish Civil War the Nationalist Colonel José Moscardo Ituarte the military governor of the Toledo Province held the Alcazar against overwhelming Republican forces during the Siege of the Alcazar. With a poorly armed group of fighters he held out for General Francisco Franco's Nationalist forces for 70 days from 22 July to 27 September 1936. The cadets were loyal to the Francoist army. This short work chronicles the siege of the Alcazar in Toledo by Republican forces.The work is pro-Nationalist with Falangist and Carlist songs reprinted in its pages.<p>Robert Brasillach 1909-1945 was a fascist and an antisemite.
