Rare early autograph inscription signed and dated December 1918 on this text by Blaise Cendrars to Georges Le Cardonnel literary critic who co-wrote with Charles Vellay La Littérature contemporaine a survey conducted among French critics writers and poets. She was accompanied by Cendrars and with him rediscovered her country. The book combines the work they did together in the form of his poems and her drawings. The importance of the book is confirmed by the extensive coverage it was given in the 2017 retrospective devoted to her art by the Museum of Modern Art.
