Aldiss was a popular English science fiction author an influential writer of the twentieth century. One of his short stories 'Supertoys Last All Summer Long' was the basis for the Stanley Kubrick - Steven Spielberg 2001 film 'A. I. Artificial Intelligence'. He was part of the British New Wave of sci-fi and was greatly influenced by H. G. Wells. In the original publisher's paper wraps in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally fine.
