It therefore lacks the more expanded approval from 1756 of the professors of the University of Louvain including that of Van Rossum as well as the subsequent dedication to Empress Maria Theresa. The present variant is therefore almost certainly an earlier issue.Ad 2: New edition of the taxa regulating the prices of pharmacists in Ghent. Problems with the quality of the services provided led to the establishment of a professional military pharmaceutical service in 1794. To provide the medical support that the army needed garrison hospital pharmacies were built. Patzowsky published a German edition of the present pharmacopoeia in the same year: Oestrreichischen Militär-Pharmacopoea zum Gebrauche der Oestrreichischen Fieldärzte Vienna A.A. Patzowsky 1795.
