La data e l'autore si desumono dall'ultima tavola, che riproduce l'onoreficenza affisa in San Germano in onore del suo celebre cittadino Jacopo Suigo e del suo importante protettore Pietro Cara; i Sangermanesi su proposta del Prof. Luigi Rollone e del poeta e giornalista Giuseppe Deabate, il 21 Maggio 1899 posero infatti una lapide sul frontone del Palazzo Municipale. (ca. 11,7 x 24,5 cm). 1 Blatt. Original-Entwurf, montiert auf Karton. Altersentsprechend sehr guter Zustand. Original-Entwurf zur Schriftgestaltung des Namens "Johann Maria Farina" für Kommunikation und Werbung der gleichnamigen Firma in Köln, welche für das Kölnisch Wasser weltberühmt geworden ist. Der Entwurf unterscheidet sich in Einzelheiten durchaus vom bis heute gebrauchten Schriftbild des Firmennamens. Der mittlerweile historische Entwurf stammt aus dem Nachlaß des Berliner Gebrauchsgrafikers Werner Gruschke. Er hatte ihn auf Karton montiert und in seinem Portfolio-Ordner abgelegt. Mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit war Gruschke zeitgenössisch für den Entwurf verantwortlich. Auch ein weiterer Entwurf zur Firma Farina befand sich in seinem Werbegrafik-Portfolio, es ist anzunehmen daß beide Entwürfe für die Firma aus derselben Zeit stammen. Es ist zudem wahrscheinlich, daß es sich hier nur um einen Entwurf - etwa als Einreichung zu einer Ausschreibung der Firma - handelte. Historischer Entwurf zur Typografie der bekannten Kölner Duft-Firma!
