1199816Set of three handwritten unidentified letters. The first letter is on a lined 16" x 9 1/2" sheet of paper folded vertically with two horizontal creases. Addressed to the City Council of the City of Saco the Board of Health members urge that action be taken to clean up standing water or else risk contagion. The second letter is written on 5" x 8" Philadelphia Union Volunteer Refreshment Saloon & Hospital stationery. 6 pages long the writing has faded after the first paragraph of page two. The letter is from a former Union soldier to an acquaintance telling of his recent exploits and whereabouts.The third letter is two pages long written on 5" x 8" House of Representatives stationery with two horizontal creases.
