In full contemporary calf with black ruing 5 raised bands to the spine with some gilt faded in the compartments. Some nice head pieces and printer's colophon at title page. Leather is scuffed and rubbed at edges and corners spine tips a bit rubbed faint library numbers at bottom spine interior first blank is missing interior front cover has some old biographic marks title page has institutional stamps text has some very occasional markings and light very occasional darkening at the top edge near the rear otherwise sturdy and good.
