"Long, long ago Anja lived in a place so far North that mothers never packed away wool hats or mittens. Her greatest dream was to become on of Santa's elves." She set of on her skis, and was helped on her long journey by a brilliant Red Cardinal bird, a Horse, Musk-Ox, and finally a reindeer who delivered her to Santa Claus on his sleigh which took her home her home.These lovely photographs of the real Anja were taken by her Norwegian father. and the story written by her mother.
