1925023008New Preston CT: Bernhardt Wall 1925. Limited Edition. Square Octavo. Limited to only 100 copies signed by the author. The present copy is number 82 and has 23 etchings plus another laid in. No pagination. The first etching titled "One of 'Em" is also signed by Wall. Known as the etcher of books Wall wrote and illustrated his books designed them etched the plates printed and signed each etching then cut folded gathered sewed bound lettered and labeled them. His carear began designing post cards and holiday cards over 5000 cards. His works were also in the private collections of J. P. Morgan Franklin D. Roosevelt Henry C. Frick and Dr. N.C. Mathewson. Wall etched three sitting presidents of the United States Theodore Roosevelt Warren Taft and Henry Coolidge. Bound in 1/4 black coth over boards etching to upper right cotner. in plain green dust jacket with loss to spine and one corner small chips and a closed tear to rear panel. No names or bookplates. A very nice copy. Quite scarce. Bernhardt Wall unknown
