Written by Michaud and Poujoulat this work is the exchange of their letters whilst travelling the Orient. Poujoulat was a French historian and hired by Joseph-Francois Michaud as editor of the Library of the Crusades. They both went to Greece and Palestine although Poujoulat returned alone via Syria. This correspondence discusses their elucidations whilst writing Histoire des Croisades. In quarter calf with cloth covered boards. Externally rubbed to spines. Rubbing is heaviest to volumes III IV V and VII and is mostly to the head and tail of spine to all volumes. Internally all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are age toned as expected with paper used. Bookmark ribbon present to all volumes. Spotting to the first and last few pages and the odd spots throughout. Very Good Ducollet hardcover
