Thick 8vo publisher's original three-quarter wine-red morocco over cloth covered boards the spine panels elaborately decorated in gilt between raised the bands gilt stopped lettered in gilt in two compartments. xxix 1 539; v 1 555 pp. A good reading copy the hinges strong and sound and the text-block clean and in excellent condition the bindings with some chipping and wear to the spine panels now touched up and protected with plastic dust-jackets. SCARCE IN ANY PRINTING.
