This is a Very Good Plus copy of the First American Edition published in the same year as the English version. A scarce title. Blue/gray cloth binding decorated on the front cover with a drawing by Aubrey Beardsley which is also reproduced on the Title Page. Gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; xvi 187 pages with eight pages of publisher adverts in the rear. The Preface is by the Irish "realistic" novelist George Moore. Very mildly bumped really just a touch. Darkened on the spine and around the margins. There is a contemporary bookplate on the front paste-down; the endpapers have some tears that have been repaired with paper tape. First American Edition.
