Binding rubbed and worn with a bit of loss at the crown and some loss to the paper covering at one corner of the lower board light interior scattered foxing sound but good only. <br /> <br /> One of 1000 copies printed. Variant issue in reddish-brown boards also seen in a slightly larger-sized issue in brownish-tan boards.<br /> Although the title page and cover bear the imprint "Printed in the United Society Canterbury N.H." the cover and secondary title leaf also state: "New Lebanon N.Y. 1844." Originally published in 1823 under the title A Juvenile Monitor. Printed in the United Society hardcover
