In 8° (21,5x14,7 cm); 118, (2) pp. Bella legatura in mezza pelle chiara con titolo e fregi impressi in oro al dorso. Piatti foderati con carta marmorizzata coeva. Leggerissimo alone, praticamente sempre invisibile ma più appariscente alle prime tre carte (più intense al frontespizio) con una leggera fioritura e alle ultime 5 carte dove è presente nelle ultime tre carte un piccolo restauro con carta coeva al margine basso bianco. L’ultima pagina presenta una patina di polvere. Prima rara edizione di questa raccolta di pensieri e componimenti del Conte Tommaso Vitali bolognese di nascita ma che visse buona parte della sua vita a Forlì. Non a caso Tommaso Vitali fu un attivo arcade della celebre Accademia forlivese dei Filergiti e l’opera presenta una dedica al Marchese forlivese Luigi Paolucci de Calboli. All’interno è presente anche uno scritto in onore del noto matematico forlivese Giambattista Mirri. Prima edizione assai rara.
Firenze, Fratelli Batelli, 1828-29, tomi 4 (in 2 volumi), in-8, 1 volume in legatura coeva in mz. pergamena ed angoli, doppio tassello in pelle con titolo e filettature oro al dorso, l'altro in mz. pelle coeva, doppio tassello con titolo e filettature oro, tagli spruzzati, pp. LI, (1), 245, (3), 312, (4), 381, (3), 287, (1). Qualche mancanza, ma ben reintegrata, alla carta marmorizzata di copertura dei piatti del primo volume; poche fioriture. La prima edizione delle opere fu curata da N. Tommaseo (a cui si deve il "Discorso preliminare"), ma senza l'autorizzazione di Manzoni; a questi 4 volumi (il 1° dedicato al "Conte di Carmagnola", il 2° all'"Adelchi"). Con 2 tavole inc. Evidenti tracce di umidità con gore residue, che non pregiudicano però l'integrità del volume con i tomi III e IV che contiene le poesie varie, gli "Innni sacri" e le "Osservazioni sulla morale cattolica" (3°) e i primi XI capitoli de "I Promessi sposi" (4°). Firma d'appartenenza accompagnata dalla data d'acquisto dell'opera (1873).
