The covers include spaces for the names of commercial enterprises generally department stores or the like to whom the book was supplied for use as a promotional gift. The cover and inside pages contain advertisements various Aurora Illinois businesses such as Wilcox & Gilbert dress goods at River Street and Downer Place. With full-page ad for T. Kingsford & Son's "Oswego NY " starches. Records indicate that the title "Our picture book" was used by Sunshine Publishing Co. for volumes of varying content and number of pages. An early scrap book belonging to bookman and publisher Ernie Bulow documenting his theatrical experiences as cultural arts instructor / script writer at Wingate High School in Fort Wingate New Mexico. <br /> <br /> After receiving an English degree in the sixties Bulow worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs resided in Gallup N.M. and taught English at Fort Wingate on the Navajo Reservation. Subsequently he received a doctorate from the University of Utah and he returned to Gallup where he traded in Indian jewelry and kachinas and opened his bookstore. unknown
