No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, very slight rubbing to spine ends, slightly dusty top of page edges and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or creased or torn with extremely faint marking and a few small nicks to edges. 190pp. A study of the Icelandic saga in the light of later Norse literature where the author examines and evaluates the various attitudes and approaches to the sagas and adds critical insights of his own.
