The binding is rubbed and bumped and shows some spotting and soiling from handling. The spine is sunned. Prior owner's bookplate on the front pastedown which has a small piece of blue paper stuck near the gutter. Endpapers and text are quite toned. The bottom 2 1/2 inches of the gutter at the title page is torn. Pencilled notation on reverse of title page. Page 159 has a dark stain at the top of the gutter. Text is not affected.
