Title with a few smudges else a near fine copy. <br /> <br /> Nice copy of this influential Renaissance dictionary of Roman civil law with very handsome title page that served as a foundational reference for early modern legal scholarship. The text was first printed in Basel in 1538 and later revised and expanded to reflect the continuity of Justinian law.
