Plain cream card wrappers with printed dustwrapper; xxvi 35pp. One of 400 "regular" copies the total edition was 490. Presentation inscription on a laid-in card to an unknown recipient from Alladine Bridget Lacroix the author's daughter: "Maybe this unfinished dictionary by my father he died before reaching the i's will amuse you as the preface is by Cingria whom you met" undated but clearly later. Small vertical tear to jacket at front flap-fold else about Fine. Guevara a Chilean-born painter poet and playboy was loosely affiliated with the Bloomsbury set and with Nancy Cunard's Hours Press. Aside from one poem published by Cunard this appears to be Guevara's only published literary work. Most of his painted oeuvre which was exhbited to some acclaim in the Twenties and Thirties was destroyed in the London blitz during WWII. Suzie David Imprimeur unknown books
