As noted in Dell'Isola's bibliography the volume is "illustrated with 12 sepia photographs of ancient and modern Cistercian architecture which were taken by Jahan and Sauvageot and a detailed sketch with explanatory notes of a typical Cistercian abbey in the 12th century." Although this copy was in a library there is only a light discoloration to lower spine where a sticker used to be and a faint erasure mark to upper corner of front free endpaper; else no other areas of the book were subjected to library treatments.
