The author a filthy anti-Semite who spent several years in prison after the war wrote this book at the very end of his life having returned to his hometown at the edge of the Etang de Berre to die. Illustrated with a beautiful frontispiece etching by Jean Traynier depicting the port of Martigues. Finely printed in hand-set Garamond Italic types. From a total edition of 187 copies this is ONE OF ONLY THREE COPIES on Japon Imperial with a second proof of the etching on Japon mince. 4to loose as issued in wraps board folder and slipcase.
