Rough cut edges on side and bottom. Capitals and some devices in red within the text. Portrait frontispiece of the author protected by sheet. Some pages have spotting. Overall very good. An autobiographical and whimsical account of the authros time in a Turin jail following a duel he imagines wandering around his cell. After finishing the manuscript the author left it with his brother who secretly published it.
