The spines are remarkably clean. Top edge gilt with other edges uncut and lightly toned. Some offsetting and spotting to the blank end-papers. Free from inscriptions and erasures. Very small 'Times Book Club ' stickers to the lower rear pastedowns.The WRAPPERS are complete and are in Very Good or better condition with just a little loss and rubbing at the spine tips. Some toning to the spine and the edges of the covers and flap folds. The cover artwork by Maxwell Armfield looks very striking in the removable brodart archival covers. Each volume contains six issues of the periodical. There were only twelve issues of this periodical in total. Flug Scholarship Fund at Harvard College Past Board Member and Officer of the Aspen Country Day School Past Chairman of United Way of Rye NY Past President of Manursing Island Club NY. In honor of his mother and his own dedication to children's education he founded and supported the Evelyn R. Flug Children's Library in Aspen and a private foundation to support experiments in education.
