Guillaume-Henri Monod was a French civil administrator and geologist who spent 30 years in Cambodia departing in 1925. Two page introduction in French; all photo captions in bilingual English/French. Professionally photographed images depict Angkor not much different from when it was first 'rediscovered' by the French and prior to major later restoration some of which was of mixed quality. Staple bound with plain olive-green wraps. Title- and last pages chipped; last page has corner retaped with no impact on text or image.
