Illustrated by George Barrow. Many of these humorous essays were first published in Punch the year previously. Three titles were published of Anthony Berkeley in 1925; this one another under the pseudonym of A.B. Cox entitled BRENDA ENTERTAINS and THE LAYTON COURT MYSTERY which was released anonymously. In the RARE D/W pricedv7/6 net to the spine as called for. The D/W is a solid near fine example with just a hint of darkening to the spine and with a reduced price 1/- sticker to the front panel.
