The correspondence was edited by Elizabeth French Lathem and Edward Connery Lathem and the text and illustration together well exemplify the collaboration between two giants of the Book Arts during the first half of the 20th century.<br>Â Â Â Â => The wood engravings are absolutely stunning.<br>Â Â Â Â Provenance: From the library of American collector Albert A. Howard small booklabel "AHA" at rear. Quarter blue cloth with gray paper spine label over lovely marbled paper; issued without a dust jacket. Additionally there are three specimens two are bifolia and one single sheet are hinged in at the back in a section "Limited Issue Supplement" found only in this special edition of 50 copies. Fascinating correspondence by two larger than life figures in the early 20th century. A beautiful copy with only a bit of foxing to the fore-edge. From the library of American collector Albert A.
